Used Davis Standard DS-20 (1993) Extruder for Sale. This unit has a 2.0″ screw with a 24:1 L/D ratio and has run HDPE. It is air cooled, with (2) die zones and (3) barrel cooling zones, controlled by EuroThermo temperature controls. Power comes from a 20 HP DC motor with an A-B drive, and the gearbox runs a 6.53:1 ratio with a 50 HP capacity. Power requirement is 230v/460v – 3ph. Equipped with a hopper loader, the extruder has been cleaned up and test ran, and can be seen under power for an inspection.
