This vertical spindle grinder has a 60″ electromagnetic chuck, 32″ grinding wheel diameter, and 64″ swing inside guards, with 18″ height under a new wheel. Wheel speed is 500 RPM, with six chuck speeds of 5.6, 8.7, 12.9 and 20.7 RPM and variable chuck control. Infinitely variable power downfeed runs 0.004″ to .080″ IPM, driven by a 100 HP motor. Equipped with power raising and lowering wheel head and power traverse table. Maximum work load on the chuck is 10,000 lbs; approximate machine weight is 36,000 lbs.
