This extruder has a 4.5″ screw with a 30:1 L/D ratio, an air cooled, vented barrel with six barrel zones, and is driven by a 200 HP DC motor through a Control Techniques Mentor II drive. Temperature control is handled by a ten zone control panel using Cal 9900 instruments. The machine is running PE fine into August, so it can be seen under power for an inspection prior to purchase.
