Used Sterling Dual 5 Lb (1997) Blow Molder for Sale. This machine runs dual heads with a 5 lb head shot size and 21″ head center spacing. Platen size is 42″ x 36″, with vertical adjustment of +/- 4″ and side to side and front to back adjustment of +/- 3″. Minimum and maximum daylight measure 15″ and 39″, with 65 tons of clamp tonnage. Screw size is 3.5″ at a 24:1 L/D ratio, driven by a 125 HP hydraulic drive. It carries a new BR controller and a 100 point parison programmer. The platen hydraulic cylinders were rebuilt, the majority of hydraulic hoses replaced, many hydraulic and air valves replaced, and the electrical cabinet updated.
